WHAT'S NEW

OUR  WORK

Sharing our original video projects was the first inspiration for creating 'the anthrotographer'.

Now we have a platform all our own to publish creations.

Someone in our collective bought a bougie new camera recently so I guess photography is something we'll try out too.

It's a good excuse to go into the outside world.

We feel inspired to write constantly. Whether the inspiration is to review a film, write a story, or scribble down an interesting thought, this site is where it'll be exhibited.

Our pod is interested in studying the human condition through the different art humanity creates. We enjoy discussing weighty themes in films, books, history, current events or whatever the hell else interests us.

anthro + cinematographer = the anthrotographer

‘the anthrotographer’ is a person/people interested in studying the human condition and creating new media inspired by what's learned. That learning can be done through watching film, people watching on the street, reading manuscripts (now that I think about it, where do you find manuscripts), etc. The ‘anthrotographer’ creates work on films, books, writings, history, current events or whatever the hell else interests us. With some educational background in both Anthropology & Video Production (plus amateur independent researching) hopefully what is created both provokes thought and is informed.
